Information
Fees and grants
A deposit of £20 is requested on enrolment of your child at pre-school. This covers our administration and induction costs. In addition your child will receive a Hawkesbury pre-school sweatshirt when they start.
Fee structure is based on the age of the child and how many sessions he/she attends.
Invoices are issued at the beginning of each term and payment must be made within 2 weeks of issue.
We accept childcare vouchers if you are registered to do so with your employer. These vouchers are non-taxable and exempt from National Insurance Contributions for employees and offer National Insurance Savings for employers. All eligible working parents, with a child under 16, are entitled to child care vouchers regardless of tax status.
Cancellation
Parents must give 8 school weeks notice (i.e. weeks that the pre-school is open and not including school holidays) if you wish to take your child out of pre-school. This must be in writing to the secretary and the notice period will start on receipt of the letter.
Pre-school government funded sessions (grants)
The term after your child has turned three they are entitled to government funded sessions. This entitles your child to 15 hours of childcare at a preschool or nursery taken flexibly at one or more settings. You will receive more information about these grants when your child turns three.
Parent rota
We run a parent/carer rota where we ask that parents join their child for their session and assist with the activity planned for the day. We also ask that you provide a healthy snack for all the children on your duty day. The rota is based on how frequently your child attends pre-school and other carers such as grandparents are also welcome to cover the duty.
Taster sessions
